Während die Medien sich über Steuererhöhungen aufregen, stellt keiner die Frage, wieso das überhaupt nötig scheint.

Wenn wir schon bei gebrochenen Versprechen sind...

Erinnert sich noch jemand an Boris' großen Bus?

Da stand was von 350 Mio. Pfund pro Woche für den NHS, nach Austritt aus der EU. Das wären also 18.2 Mrd. Pfund pro Jahr. Jetzt erhöht er die Steuern um 12 Mrd. Pfund pro Jahr in den gesamten Sozialsektor zu pumpen. Irgendwas passt da rein mathematisch nicht.

EDIT:

Was macht die Regierung, wenn die Versorgungskette zusammenbricht? Umweltstandards, wie die Wasserqualität, absenken, damit die Probleme nicht mit Brexit in Verbindung gebracht werden!

“We are seeing a real crunch on the driver front,” said Tim Doggett, CEO of the CBA.

“My concern and what I have said to the Department for Transport this morning is the game of musical chairs we will see. If you have a driver faced with a job which means he doesn’t have to get out of his cab to deal with dangerous substances and one that gets paid the same and has to handle hazards and be specially qualified to do so, you know which job the driver will go for,” he added.
